There are strong indications that the Imo State governor, Rochas Anayo Okorocha wants to use the judiciary to realize his ambition to install his son in-law, Uche Nwosu as the next governor of Imo State has been uncovered. It was gathered that despite the fact that Senator Hope Uzodimma who was declared winner of the Imo All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship primaries on October 1, 2018 and has secured a High Court injunction restraining the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the APC from fielding and/ or accepting the name of any other person except his (Uzodimma), Okorocha has allegedly been in court in the last few days to get an injunction on the matter. The governor was said to have made it clear that he would do everything within his powers to ensure that his desire to install Uche Nwosu as governor in 2019 is not aborted. He is said to have boasted at the meeting that already, he has the support of members of the National Working Committee (NWC) but that his major obstacle now is the judiciary.
