Former Governor of Kano state, Rabiu kwankwaso has in the company of hisKwankasiyya group visited the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Senator Kwankwaso while visiting the former vice-president, led a delegation of the Kwankwasiya movement on a solidarity visit to the home of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP standard presidential flagbearer, who received them alongside his running matePeter Obi.
In a chat, one of the leaders of the Kwankwasiyya movement, confirmed the meeting, saying the Kano born “politician has agreed to work with Atiku to form a winning team geared towards moving the country forward and making Nigeria great again.
There have been widespread speculations in the media that Kwankwaso was set to dump the party following the crisis tat broke out in Kano State PDP after many of his loyalists were removed as winners of various primary elections.
But this meeting appeared to have put such speculations to rest, as the party can now hive a sigh of relief that one of it’s heavyweight politicians is staying put ahead of the 2019 general elections.
