Lawmaker Representing Bende Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Hon Nnenna Elendu Ukeje said she accepted defeat at the just concluded Primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) for Bende Federal Constituency to Prevent Gunmen from Shooting her and her Supporters.
Speaking to Newsmen in her Contryhome Alayi in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State Hon Ukeje said the plot to deny her ticket was highly planned and Executed with the Support of Security men in Abia State.
Hon Ukeje said her Supporters were prevented access to the Bende Local Government Area Secretariat while Boys working with her Opponent Dr Chima Anyaso were escorted into the Council Quarters where the Primaries of the Party Held.
She said she have to accept Defeat when she discovered that Thugs had surrounded the Hall where the election held.
”When I Found out that my Supporters were Prevented from Coming in and thugs had taking over the Building where the Primaries was held,i had to accept Defeat to prevent loss of Life”
”The Plots to Deny me Ticket was Higly planned and Executive even with the Security men who came to Provide Security for the Exercise,why is it that till this Moment non of those Boys were arrested by the Police”
”The Whole Plots was that should in case I Won, the Thugs will Invade the Building and attack me” She Said.
The Lawmaker also Dismissed Rumours that she is heading to Court over the Outcome of the Primaries of the PDP in Bende Federal Constituency.
