An Imo state governorship aspirant under the banner of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Hon. Uche Onyeagocha has taken a swipe at the former governor of the state, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, describing him as a pretender with no electoral value who relies solely on electoral fraud to get power.

Onyeagocha stated this recently during his LGA tour to Ideato North. His reaction came on the heels of a statement credited to Ohakim, which said that Owerri Zone should wait for him to complete his truncated tenure before gunning for the gubernatorial seat.

Onyeagocha however insisted that Ohakim has no unfinished business whatsoever in Douglas House having failed woefully as governor and was in one accord deposed by Imo people.

According to him, “Ikedi Ohakim believes entirely in election rigging. He was brought in through rigging. If he comes here, you people should ask him if he knew how he became governor. It was through rigging! The results of that election were written at Bestway Hotels, Akwakuma. He later came to beg me with N500 million. I rejected him with his money.”

Onyeagocha also asked the people of Ideato North to show him any meaningful project the Ohakim administration brought to the area apart from two UBE-funded primary school blocks.

He further enjoined the party faithful to support his governorship ambition, promising to build centers where women will be going to test their breasts monthly.
