The immediate past governor of Imo State Dr Ikedi Ohakim yesterday took to his Facebook handle to condemn the impeachment of the Imo State Deputy Governor Prince Eze Madumere by the Imo State House of Assembly despite a court order restraining them.
He however promised that such practice would soon come to an end in Imo State where the judiciary and judges are treated like tissue paper by the executive.
Dr. Ikedi Ohakim last week Friday defected officially to the all Progressives Grand Alliance APGA where he would be seeking to return to Douglas House to complete his constitutionally allowed one tenure.
In his speech, he promised to return to the people of Imo State all they have lost under the Rochas Okorocha administration and to uphold rule of law and respect for the judiciary.
