Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha on Thursday said a national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, must have been ill-informed before declaring support for the party’s chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

He also accused Oshiomhole of administering the affairs of the party without carrying President Muhammadu Buhari along.

Okorocha spoke with State House correspondents shortly after meeting Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The governor insisted that his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, was duly given a certificate for winning the party’s governorship ticket in the state before Nwosu’s replacement by the APC National Secretariat.

The governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has denied giving the APC governorship primary poll electoral committee headed by Sen. Ahmed Gulak a prepared result to announce.

Sen. Gulak had earlier on Tuesday claimed during a television programme that Gov. Okorocha attempted forcing him to announce a prepared result of the Imo APC governorship poll.

The governor said Gulak has by his latest antics deliberately let Nigerians down.It will be recalled that Gulak had on 2nd October told the world that he fled Owerri, the Imo State Capital by 4:30 am to escape being kidnap.

Okorocha added that the television programme offered Gulak the opportunity to redeem his battered image but he deliberately fluffed it.He wondered why it took Gulak about a month to come up with his new allegation, saying that Gulak was lucky to be a Nigerian.

According to Okorocha, if Gulak were to come from another clime, he would by now answering to charges in court.The Imo governor said that men like Gulak should rightly be described as enemies of the nation within. They do not wish the country or her democracy well. They want the country to be at the receiving end and they do not believe in the wording of the National Anthem or the National pledge or the constitution.

The General Overseer of the Grace Dispensation Prophetic Ministry International located in Amukpe Axis of Sapele Delta State, Nigeria has disowned a pastor believed to be working with his church who has been shot dead by the police as he tried to escape when police accosted a robbery gang he was a member of.

One pastor Emmanuel lost his life while running away after police found him in the company of some suspected Kidnappers.

Obviously the incident is likely to damage the reputation of the church, hence its overseer, Apostle Joshua Oribhabor has distanced the church from the alleged criminal conducts of the deceased pastor.

He said: “My Ministry Grace Dispensation Prophetic Ministry Int’l is not and can never be a party to his evil deed, we are informing the general public that we know nothing about it and the name of our Ministry should not be dragged to the mud.”

Apostle Joshua Oribhabor further explained that Pastor Emmanuel was never an ordained pastor of his church, saying: “I don’t have other Pastors in my Ministry and I have never ordained any, I don’t know where and who ordained Pastor Emmanuel, he do attend our programs and became a friend to the Ministry, but we were never aware of his illicit act and we never recognize him as a pastor.”

Owelle Rochas Okorocha draws strong historical parallels with Adolf Hitler. I hope he doesn't end up like the former.

Events in the recent days forebodes the possibility of history repeating itself. 

Originally liked and adored by Ndi Imo the way Adolf Hitler was acclaimed by the Germans, Rochas quickly broke down and destroyed State Institutions whilst arrogating 'godship' to himself.

Carried away by the frills and filth of lucre the villainous and self imposed Emperor gradually ignored decency and lost his sense of time. 

Like Hitler, he appointed court jesters and Goebbels like courtesans who sang his Praise in binge of drunken Propaganda.

Like Hitler, Rochas even invented his version of a swastika which droops from his neck and that of his courtesans like a tool for desired suicide! 

When the earth could bear him no more, the Allied Forces gathered and militated against Adolf Hitler and so they also did against Owelle Rochas in the form of a coalition of good forces. 

Like the events of D-Day, Rochas knew of a planned invasion but He never knew when or whence it cometh. Like Hitler, Rochas has lost several Generals in a famous last fight. But the Second Front has opened and Rochas could sleep no more.

Running from Pillar to post in a frenetic and insane orgy of self preservation, time has become his greatest enemy. Time is running out for Rochas.

The former Commissioner for Information,and Special Adviser to Governor Rochas Okorocha, Bar Kelechi Okpalaeke, has said that what Uche Nwosu is facing now is the toxic infection from his father-in-law, governor Rochas Okorocha.

Adding that “If there is any problem with uche nwosu’s aspiration to be the flag bearer of APC in Imo state, it must not have been because of Uche Nwosu but the so called commander of rescue mission in the state.

Okpalaeke made this known in his Facebook page on Wednesday.

The Barrister stated that most Imolites fighting Uche Nwosu have no qualms with Uche , their gripe is with his Excellency Governor Rochas Okorocha.

Stressing that at the course of administering Imo state, Rochas became intoxicated by power which is now affecting the son-in-law.

The winner of the Imo state governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Uche Nwosu, has described as unfounded and misleading, reports that his name has been dropped by the National Working Committee of the party.

Nwosu said that the news trending on the online edition of one of the national dailies is a sponsored falsehood intended to create tension in the state.

The online report had claimed that the NWC of the party had substituted Nwosu’s name with that of Senator Hope Uzodinma as the APC governorship candidate for Imo State.

But reacting to the report, Nwosu said that he remains the authentic governorship candidate of the party, adding that the NWC of the party cannot contemplate any such action, when it has already upheld his candidacy.

According to him, “Apart from available records, which showed that I am the authentic governorship candidate of our party, I also have a valid Court Order barring the partly and INEC from substituting my name. So the media house reporting that is obviously sponsored to do a hatchet job”.

He stated further that, “There are no contentions to my victory at the Imo State governorship primary election. What we have in the records is that the governorship candidate of APC in Imo State is Uche Nwosu, not only that, I have a valid Court Order barring the party and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from receiving any other name that is not my name.

“There is no contention in that, the only primary that was upheld was that of Agbabiaka, which I won and everybody knew it was the authentic primary. The earlier primary that was to be conducted by Ahmed Gulak  was cancelled and disbanded and a new Committee was reconstituted, so Gulak never conducted any governorship primary, the only primary that was done in Imo State is the one conducted by Agbabiaka which I won”.

The APC National Working Committee APC has adopted Sen. Hope Uzodinma as the governorship candidate of the party for Imo .

The party decided Wednesday in Abuja, and the senator’s name will be forwarded to INEC before the Nov 2 deadline.

Gov. Richaas Okorocha had worked triedlessly to instal his son-in-law Uche Nwosu by muscling out Deputy-Governor Madummere, and fighting off Uzodinma who also contested the primary.

A kangaroo primary eventually produced Nwosu as the APC governorship candidate.

This pitted Okorocha against the NWC, who had earlier advised him to cede 45 percent of the party structure to Uzodinma—and choose between his Senate ticket and Nwosu’s guber ambition.

The governor wants to go to Senate, and also impose his son-in-law as governor—because it is only the two of them, he explained, that can win election on APC’s platform.

Okorocha is one of the closest to President Muhammadu Buhari, but he might fallen out of favour in the Villa as a result of this.
